Smartphone as a key for your container lock box
The Seguratainer Lock Box for shipping containers does not use traditional keys: only authorized smartphones can open the locks. As explained above, it only takes a few clicks to create or delete existing keys, meaning, granting or denying access to user’s phones.
You can event have your lock boxes with no keys assigned: impossible to open (and no keyhole to be picked), you can then create a key when the time is right (ie: the goods have been delivered, the payment has been made).
Once a key is created, the opening validation is done via Seguratainer’s propietary mobile app and the opening action is triggered with NFC technology, the same technology used for touchless payments by financial institutions all around the world.
